CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTIO~ NO 70-185 <br /> <br />RE: AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR STREET IMPROVEMENTS ON VALLEY AVE <br /> <br />~HEREAS; Bids for construction of improvements on Valley Avenue <br /> were solicited by the Director of Public Works and <br /> opened at 2:00 P.M., August 17, 1970; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS; The Iow bidder in the amount of $62,683.60 was Wattis <br /> Construction Company; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That the contract for construction of improvements on <br /> Valley Avenue is awarded Wattis Construction Company in <br /> the amount of $62,683.60, said work to be done consistent <br /> with plans and specifications prepared by the City upon <br /> which~t~ low bid herein submitted is based. <br /> <br /> 2.
