CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />~ESOLUTION NO.~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING ANNEXATION PROCEEDINGS INITIATED <br />BY CITY COUNCIL, AND GIVING NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION <br />DESIGNATED ANNEXATION NO. 65 <br /> <br />lITHE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS <br />1FOLLOWS: <br />il 1. These proceedings are initiated by the Council of the City <br /> <br />of Pleasanton to annex to the City of Pleasanton all that <br /> <br />uninhabited territory described below. The Council acts on <br /> <br />its own motion, pursuant to the "Annexation of Uninhabited <br /> <br />Territory Act of 1939", (Sections 35300 et seq. of the <br /> <br />Government Code) as amended. <br /> <br />2. The City Council does hereby desire to annex said uninhabite <br /> <br />territory for the following reasons: <br /> <br />Said territory is contiguous to the City a part of the <br /> <br />General Plan, and one of a series of annexations neces- <br /> <br />sary in expanding the City boundaries. The area can be <br />served,by City sewer and water, and is the next logical <br />step in the City's growth. <br />Said uninhabited territory is situated in the Township of <br />Pleasanton, County of Alameda, State of California, and is <br />further designated and described as follows: <br /> <br /> SEE EXHIBIT "A" ATTACHED HERETO AND MADE A PART HEREOF. <br />The Local Agency Formation Commission of Alameda County, <br /> <br />California, approved the above described and proposed boun- <br /> <br />daries of said territory by Resolution No. 70-17, duly <br />adopted May 28, 1970. <br /> <br />The time and place is hereby fixed when and where any person <br /> <br />owning real property within the uninhabited territory <br />described above and proposed to be annexed to the City of <br /> <br /> <br />
