CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 01-056 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 2001 WEED ABATEMENT PROGRAM AND AUTHORIZING STAFF TO PROCEED WITH ABATEMENT OF WEEDS, RUBBISH OR REFUSE UPON OR IN FRONT OF CERTAIN DESCRIBED PROPERTIES WITHIN THE CITY OF PLEASANTON WHICH CONSTITUTE PUBLIC NUISANCE WHEREAS, at its meeting of April 17, 2001, Council adopted Resolution No. 01-032, declaring as a public nuisance all weeds, rubbish or refuse upon or in front of certain described properties within the City of Pleasanton as more particularly set forth in Exhibit "A", attached thereto; and WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 01-032 was adopted pursuant to the provisions of Government Code Sections 39501-39588; and WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 01-032 designated May 15, 2001, at the hour of 7:00 p.m., at the Pleasanton City Council Chambers, as the time, date and place to hear and consider objections to the abatement and removal of weeds, rubbish or refuse upon or in front of certain described properties within the City of Pleasanton more particularly set forth in Exhibit "A" to Resolution No. 01-032; and WHEREAS, the Fire Inspector was charged with the responsibility to perform the duties imposed by Government Code Sections 39560-39588, and he did prepare notices to destroy weeds and remove rubbish and refuse, and did mail written notice of the proposed abatement and removal to all persons owning property described in Resolution No. 01-032 in the time, form and manner prescribed by law; and WHEREAS, the City Council did hold a public hearing on May 15, 2001, and no protests were presented; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
