CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO' 70-117 -- <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING ANNEXATION PROCEEDINGS INITIATED <br />BY CITY COUNCIL, AND GIVING NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION <br />DESIGNATED ANNEXATION NO. 64 <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />HEREBY RESOLVE AS <br /> <br />1. These proceedings are initiated by the Council of the City <br /> of Pleasanton to annex to the City of Pleasanton all that <br /> uninhabited territory described below. The Council acts on <br /> its own motion, pursuant to the "Annexation of Uninhabited <br /> Territory Act of 1939", (Sections 35300 et seq. of the <br /> Government Code) as amended. <br /> <br />2. The City Council does hereby desire to annex said uninhabi- <br /> ted territory for the following reasons: <br /> <br /> Said territory is contiguous to the City, a part of the <br /> General Plan, and one of a series of annexations neces- <br /> sary in expanding the City boundaries. The area can be <br /> served by City sewer and water, and is the next logical <br /> step in the City's growth. <br /> <br />3. Said uninhabited territory is situated in the Township of <br /> Pleasanton, County of Alameda, State of California, and is <br /> further designated and described as follows: <br /> <br /> SEE EXHIBIT "A" ATTACHED HERETO AND MADE A PART HEREOF. <br /> 4. The Local Agency Formation Commission of Alameda County, <br /> <br />California, approved the <br />caries of said territory <br />adopted April 30, 1970. <br /> <br />above described and proposed boun- <br />by Resolution No. 70-13, duly <br /> <br />The time and place is hereby fixed when and where any perso~ <br />owning real property within the uninhabited territory <br />described above and proposed to be annexed to the City of <br /> <br /> <br />
