I ITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ~,OUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> [BI'ATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />I[IEBOLUTIION NO- 70-a~ <br /> <br />~EI~KEAS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS: <br /> <br />DECLARING THAT WEEDS, RUBBISH OR REFUSE UPON OR IN FRONT <br />OF CERTAIN DESCRIBED PROPERTIES WITHIN THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON CONSTITUTE PUBLIC NUISANCES AND THAT THE <br />SAID SHALL BE ABATED <br /> <br />There is attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein as <br />if fully set forth herein a list of properties to ~nich the <br />declaration herein applies; and <br /> <br />Said list of properties specifically sets forth names of the <br />owners thereof and the street and lot and block number according <br />to the official assessment map for each piece of property in- <br />cluded therein; and <br /> <br />The properties listed therein have, upon or in front of them, <br />weeds, rubbish or refuse, such as defined by Section 39.561.5 <br />of the Government Code; and <br /> <br />After consideration of evidence both oral and documentary it <br />appears clear that said weeds, rubbish or refuse are a public <br />nuisance in that they constitute a fire hazard, or that said <br />materials are noxious or dangerous, and as such are detr~nental <br />to the health, safety and welfare of the residents of the City <br />of Pleasanton, and as such shall be removed; and <br /> <br />It appears clear that the public nuisances referred to herein <br />are recurrent and seasonal in nature; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That the weeds, rubbish or refuse upon or in front of the <br /> properties described in the list attached hereto and in- <br /> corporated by reference herein are declared a public <br /> nuisance and are to be abated and removed pursuant to the <br /> procedure provided for in Section 39560, et seq, of the <br /> Government Code. <br /> <br /> <br />
