CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO, 70-55 <br /> <br />GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT, SUNOL BOULEVARD <br /> <br />WHEREAS: The Planning Commission did, following public hearing on <br /> <br />February 25, 1970, recommend by Resolution No. 988, <br /> <br />that General Plan Amendment #GP-70-1 be approved; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: a public hearing was held before the City Council and <br /> <br />evidence both oral and documentary considered. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That General Plan Amendment No. GP-70-1 is hereby ap- <br /> <br />proved as follows: <br /> <br />{a) <br /> <br />That those properties where the specific land use <br />terminated with the expiration of the Planned Unit <br />Development for Mission Park and generally bounded <br />by Sunol Boulevard, Mission Drive and Hillview <br />Avenue, be classified in the A (Agricultural) <br />District. <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />That the proposed shopping center generally loca- <br />ted at the southwest corner of Sycamore Road and <br />Pico Avenue be removed at this time. <br /> <br />(c) <br /> <br />That the acreage presently assigned to the propose <br />shopping center for Mission Park located east of <br />Sunol Boulevard and south of Mission Drive be <br />retained at 9.4 acres net. <br /> <br />(d) <br /> <br />That the acreage presently assigned to the Shoppin <br />Center located within the Vintage Hills develop- <br />ment generally located at the southeast corner of <br />Pico Avenue and Tawny Drive be removed from any <br />consideration at this time pending a review by <br />the Planning Director and the developer's engineer <br />(MacKay & Somps). <br /> <br />2. That the Planning Commission be requested to initiate <br /> <br />an amendment to the Zoning Ordinance, reclassifying the <br /> <br />properties located on both sides of Sonoma Drive and <br />east of Sunol Boulevard from the I-P (Industrial Park) <br /> <br />to the S (Study) District. <br /> <br /> <br />
