CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RE: <br />WHEREAS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS: <br /> <br />NOW, <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 70-4~ <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE 0P B~DS AND CONSTRUCTION OF ~RST PHASE <br /> OF PETERS AVENUE <br /> <br /> The date of Public Works Department preparation and <br /> improvement plans and spec~fications and the call for <br /> bids for construction of the first phase of Peters <br /> Avenue were set for March 9, 1970, at 2:00 P.M., at the <br /> City Hall, Pleasanton, California, and said bids were <br /> opened on that date; and <br /> <br />The bid of Les McDonald, in the amount of $19,198.50 was <br />the low bid, including the alternate bid for transplant- <br />ing of an evergreen tree within the right-of-way and <br /> <br /> more particularly upon the plans <br /> <br /> connection herewith; and <br /> <br /> The low bidder, Les McDonald, has <br /> the plans and specifications and there appeared to be <br /> <br /> irregularities in the submittal of said bid; <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. <br /> <br />and specifications in <br /> <br />complied with all of <br /> <br /> no <br /> <br />That the bid by Les McDonald, in the amount of $19,198.50 <br />including the alternate item regarding relocation of the <br />evergreen tree, is hereby accepted. <br /> <br />That the appropriate City officials be authorized to <br />prepare and execute on behalf of the City a contract with <br />the iow bidder for the construction of the first phase of <br />Peters Avenue. <br /> <br />DATED: March 9, 1970 <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />HELE_N ,~ ~ McCARTY', C~-~y- Clel%k <br /> <br /> APPROVED AS TO FORM <br /> <br /> WILLIA A t!i ST, City Attorney <br /> <br />BERNARD T.
