CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTIC;~ ~'20. 70-37 <br /> <br />JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT WITH BAY AREA RAPID TRANSIT <br />FOR BUS TRANSIT STUDY WITHIN LIVERMORE-AMADOR VALLEY <br /> <br />WHEREAS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS: <br /> <br />The City is in receipt of a proposed Joint Exercise of <br />Powers Agreement between BART, AC Transit and the City <br />of Livermore, providing for a study of a bus transit <br />system for the Livermore-Amador Valley, the cost of <br />which is to be paid by the parties involved and by a <br />federal grant under the Urban Mass Transportation Act of <br /> <br />1964; and <br /> <br />Such a study seems <br />sort of urban mass <br />priate for <br /> <br /> essential in order to resolve what <br /> <br /> transportation system is most appro- <br />the Livermore-Amador Valley. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That the Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement between <br /> <br />BART, AC Transit District, the City of Livermore and the <br />City of Pleasanton is approved and the appropriate City <br />officers directed to execute same on behalf of the City <br />of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />DATED: March 2, 1970 <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />HE~LEN C.
