CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ?!0. 70-36 - <br /> <br /> APPROVAL OF PURCHASE OF POLICE PATROL CARS THROUGH THE <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA AND/OR THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />WHEREAS: It appears that by purchasing two Police patrol cars <br /> through either the County or the State of California, a <br /> considerable savings can be realized. <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Purchase of such equipment by the City is authorized by <br /> Section 13814 of the Government Code. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That the City Council of the City of Pleasanton hereby <br /> authorizes the Office of Procurement, Department of <br /> General Services of the State of California, to purchase <br /> two Plymouth 4-door Fury I's, with air conditioning, <br /> <br /> 383 cubic inch engine, power disc brakes, mirror and four- <br /> barrel carburetor, said cars to be used for police <br /> purposes for and on behalf of the City of Pleasanton, <br /> pursuant to Section 138i4 of the Government Code~ <br /> and that William Edgar, Director of Financ% is hereby <br /> authorized and directed to sign all necessary requests <br /> and other documents in connection therewith for and on <br /> behalf of the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />DATED: March 2, 1970 <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />H~IJEN C.
