~HEREAS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS: <br /> <br />NOW, <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO,_ 70.13 <br /> <br /> EXPRESSING SUPPORT OF POLICY OF LEAGUE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> CITIES WITH RESPECT TO TAX REFORM <br /> <br /> The City is in receipt of a proposed policy developed by <br /> the League of California Cities with respect to reform <br /> of the tax system of the State of California; and <br /> <br /> Said proposed policy statement is attached to a letter <br /> from the City Manager dated January 9, 1970 and suggests <br /> several methods of tax reform which seem reasonable and <br /> in the public interest. <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That the proposed policy with respect to tax reform <br /> prepared by the League of California Cities and attached <br /> to a letter from the City Manager dated January 7, 1970 <br /> is hereby approved. <br /> <br /> 2.
