CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RE: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 7N~]n ~- <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR PARTICIPATION IN ALAMEDA COUNTY <br />SECTION 23 LEASED HOUSING PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS: <br /> <br /> The Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of <br /> the City of Pleasanton did, on December 4, 1969, by <br /> resolution No. 254, request the City Council of the City <br /> of Pleasanton to approve by resolution directed to the <br /> Housing Authority of the County of Alameda participation <br /> in the County Leased Housing Program as described under <br /> Section 23 of the Housing Act of 1965; and <br /> Said Resolution No. 254 of the Housing Authority of the <br /> City of Pleasanton recommended that the approval be for <br /> a maximum of seventy-five (75) leased rental units <br /> located within the boundaries of the City of Pleasanton <br /> to be operated and managed pursuant to agreement between <br /> the County Housing Authority and the City Housing Author- <br /> ity, and further, that City approval be conditioned upon <br /> a review of the need and performance of said program one <br /> after commencement of said program by the County within <br /> the City of Pleasanton; and <br />WHEREAS: Implementation of said program within the City of Pleas- <br /> <br /> anton appears to be a desirable first step in attempting <br /> to supplement existing forms of low income housing. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That participation by the City of Pleasanton and the <br /> Housing Authority of the City of Pleasanton in the <br /> Alameda County Leased Housing Program under Section 23 <br /> of the Housing Act of 1965 is requested and approved. <br /> <br /> <br />
