CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO, <br /> <br />RE: FIXING OF GARBAGE COLLECTION RATES <br /> <br />WHEREAS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS: <br /> <br />Increased costs due to a recently negotiated labor con- <br /> <br />tract and increasing service demands indicate the need <br /> <br />for revision of the collection rates which Pleasanton <br /> <br />Garbage Service, the City's franchisee, is authorized to <br /> <br />collect from users of the service; and <br /> <br />The fact that, because of a recent change in ownership, <br /> <br />only some three months of audited records are available <br /> <br />has made permanent revision of the garbage rates unjusti- <br /> <br />fied and unwarranted; and <br /> <br />The figures which are available tend to justify some <br /> <br />revision of the rates on at least an interim basis pend- <br /> <br />ing accumulation of more complete data upon which a more <br /> <br />permanent revision of the rates can be based. <br /> <br />~OW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1.
