<br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 01-034 <br /> RESOLUTION ADJUSTING THE OPERATING BUDGET AND CAPITAL <br /> IMPROVEMENT BUDGET BASED ON THE 2000-01 MIDYEAR <br /> FINANCIAL REPORT <br />WHEREAS, each quarter a report of financial condition is presented to the City Council which <br /> includes any staff recommendations for budget amendments or actions needed; <br /> and <br />WHEREAS, staff presented to the City Council such a report (SR 0 I :029) for the Second <br /> Quarter of the fiscal year ending June 30, 200 I; and <br />WHEREAS, the Second Quarter marks the midyear point, and therefore, staff performed a more <br /> thorough "midyear review"; and <br />WHEREAS, as a result of the Second Quarter Financial Review, staff made recommendations <br /> as outlined in that report. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section I: Amend the Operating Budget, as outlined in Appendix A, to reflect an increase in <br /> revenue projections by $13.5 million, an increase in expenditure appropriations by <br /> $9.1 million, and a net increase in transfers-in by $889,000. <br />Section 2: Amend the Capital Improvement Budget, as detailed in Tables 1-5 in Appendix B, <br /> to reflect an increase in revenue projections by $2,911,918, an increase in <br /> expenditure appropriations by $1,006,668, and a net increase in transfers-in by <br /> $76,960. <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br />
