CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 01-036 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CHANGING THE FIRST MEETING IN MAY 2001 TO <br />MAY 8, 2001 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Friends of the Library annually hold a book sale to raise funds for the <br />Pleasanton Library; and <br /> <br />the Library Community Room will be in use during the week of May 1, 2001 so <br />that the Friends of the Library volunteers can store, sort and price the books prior <br />to the sale; and <br /> <br />at its meeting of April 17, 2001, the City Council received a report from the City <br />Manager (SR 01:094) suggesting that the first meeting in May 2001 be moved <br />from May 1, 2001 to May 8, 2001. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />The regular City Council meeting scheduled for May 1, 2001 shall be changed to <br />May 8, 2001. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
