CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 01-020 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE <br />CITIZENS' OPTIONS FOR PUBLIC <br />FUNDS AS RECOMMENDED <br /> <br />EXPENDITURE OF <br />SAFETY PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of March 20, 2001, the Chief of Police presented a report <br /> (SR 01:052) describing the recommendations for use of Citizens' Option for Public <br /> Safety (COPS) funds received from the State, as outlined in Section 30061 of the <br /> Government Code and in accordance with AB 1584. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />The City Council hereby approves the recommendations for expenditures of COPS <br />funds which are as follows: <br /> <br />Approximate <br />Allocation <br /> <br />Teen Ami-Drinking Program $20,000 <br />Replacement Side Arms for Police Personnel 35,000 <br />Replacement of Specialized Weapons 9,000 <br />Collapsible Batons 12,000 <br />Replacement Vehicle Graphics 8,500 <br />Push Bumpers for Patrol Fleet 4,000 <br />Flashlights and Chargers 16,500 <br />Mobile Data Computers 28,000 <br />Funding for Sexual Assault Response Team 10,000 <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
