CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 01-018 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE EXPENDITURE OF <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA LAW ENFORCEMENT <br />TECHNOLOGY GRANT AS RECOMMENDED <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of March 20, 2001, the Chief of Police presented a report <br />(SR 01:058) describing the recommendations for use of the Law Enforcement <br />Technology Grant, received from the State of California in accordance with <br />Assembly Bill 1740. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />The City Council hereby approves the recommendations for expenditures of the <br />Law Enforcement Technology Grant Funds as follows: <br /> <br />Opticom Traffic Signal Emitters ($35,000) <br />Preliminary Alcohol Screening Devices (PAS) ($1,500) <br />Crime View Software ($19,000) <br />High Resolution Digital Cameras ($2,000) <br />Video Projector ($4,500) <br />Hard Drive Search Device ($10,000) <br />Laptop Computers ($7,500) <br />Less Lethal Weapon - Patrol Supervisors ($2,700) <br />Automatic Cardiac Defibrillators ($40,500) <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
