CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> Resolution No.71-72 <br /> <br /> RE: SUPERVISORIAL DISTRICT BOUNDARIES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of Alameda County is required <br /> <br /> to revise its supervisorial district boundaries consistent <br /> with the results of the 1970 Federal Census; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said revision must be done so as to include within each <br /> of the five supervisorial districts as close as possible <br /> <br /> to one fifth of the population of the county; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton feels it is in the public interest <br /> to communicate its wishes with respect to supervisorial <br /> districts to the Board of Supervisors. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That the City Council of the City of Pleasanton is <br /> desirous of having all of the Livermore-Amador Valley <br /> jurisdictions within a single supervisorial district and <br /> that the population within said Livermore-Amador Valley <br /> represent at least fifty per cent of the population of th! <br /> <br />DATED: <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />supervisorial <br />April 5, 1971 <br /> <br />district. <br /> <br />~ I.
