CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 71-68 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />DATED: <br /> <br /> RE: APPROVAL OF RIGHT OF WAY AND IMPROVEMENT COST <br /> SHARING AGREEMENT COUNTY OF ALAMEDA. <br /> <br />the City is in receipt of a "Right of Way and Improve- <br />ment Agreement" whereby the County of Alameda would <br />dedicate without cost to the City of Pleasanton a <br />six foot wide strip of land along the Main Street <br />frontage of the County Veteran's Memorial Building <br />in return for the City agreeing to share one-half the <br />cost of installation of street improvements within <br />said easement; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, approval of said agreement appears desirable in <br /> <br /> order to facilitate implementation of an underground <br /> utility district along Main Street within which the <br /> subject of the agreement herein is located; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That the "Right of Way and Improvement Agreement" <br /> between the County of Alameda and the City of Pleasant, <br /> providing for dedication by the former to the latter <br /> a strip of land along the Main Street frontage of the <br /> County Veteran,s Memorial Building in return for <br /> assumption by the latter of one-half of the cost of <br /> installation of street improvements therein is approve~ <br /> and the appropriate City Officers instructed to take <br /> whatever action necessary to implement said approval <br /> including acceptance on ehalf of the C1 ~ of th~ <br /> dedication. ~/ : / <br /> <br /> ROBERT I.
