WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />NOW, <br /> <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 71-65 <br /> <br />RE: AMENDMENT TO GENERAL PLAN WITH RESPECT TO <br />VINTAGE HILLS COMMERCIAL AREA. <br /> <br />the Planning Commission was instructed by the City <br />Council to initiate and conduct a study of the <br />commercial sites in the Vintage Hills area with a view <br />toward possible amendment of the General Plan for the <br />City of Pleasanton with respect thereto; and <br />the Planning Commission initiated such a study within <br />the so called Vintage Hills area and more specifically <br />with respect to the shopping center site bounded by <br />Pico, Tawny, Norton and Palomino Streets and the area <br />abutting Vineyard Avenue on the south directly across <br />from the two approved mobile home sites which said area <br />is shown presently on the General Plan as multiple; and <br />the Planning Commission following lengthy hearings with <br />regard to the studies herein and after considering <br />written reports from the Planning Staff did on February <br />9, 1971 adopt Resolution No. 1063 recommending to the <br />City Council that certain amendments to the General <br />Plan be effected with regard to the area described <br />herein; and <br />in addition to recommendations or specific changes to <br />the General Plan Resolution No. 1063 of the Planning <br />Commission recommends that any General Plan amendment <br />contain a recital to the effect that the future <br />development may justify additional commercial sites <br />within the study area herein and that provision thereof <br /> <br /> whould await actual need therefor, <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1.
