WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 71-112 <br /> <br />RE: THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE LEGISLATIVE PROPOSALS OF <br />THE CALIFORNIA STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL. <br /> <br />the City received under letter dated April 1, 1971, a <br />series of legislative proposals supported by the Attorney <br />General together with a request that the City consider <br />supporting said legislative proposals; and <br />the City Attorney, at the request of the City Council, <br />prepared a report on the Criminal Justice Bills contained <br />in the Attorney General's legislative package; and <br />the City Council considered said Criminal Justice Bills <br />separately from the balance of the bills contained in <br />the legislative package. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That the City Council approve the report of the City <br /> <br /> Attorney and the recon~nendations contained therein with <br /> respect to the Criminal Justice Legislation proposed by <br /> the Attorney General, said approval taking the following <br /> form: <br /> <br /> a. That the provisions of Senate Bill 839 and Senate <br /> <br /> Constitutional Amendment 42 be opposed. <br /> <br /> b. That the provisions of Senate Bill 629 be approved. <br /> c. That the provisions of Senate Bill 631 be opposed. <br /> d. That the provisions of Senate Bill 676 be opposed. <br /> e. That the provisions of Senate Bill 677 be approved. <br /> <br /> 2.
