WHEREAS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br /> to take whatever action necessary <br /> acceptance· <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. <br /> <br />IDATED: <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 71-139 <br /> <br />RE: AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR COMPREHENSIVE <br />INSURANCE FOR THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />the City solicited bids regarding provision of <br />a comprehensive commercial insurance program to <br />the City of Pleasanton; and <br />the bids which were received were reviewed by the <br />City's insurance broker and a recommendation made; <br />and <br />based upon the bids and recommendation of the <br />City's insurance broker, the City Manager has <br />recommended that the bid of Continental Insurance <br />Company be accepted and that the City be authorized <br /> <br /> to implement said <br /> <br />That the bid of Continental Insurance Company dated <br />June 17, 1971 be accepted as recommended by the <br />City's insurance broker in a letter dated June 29, <br />1971 and by the City Manager in a letter dated <br /> <br />July 9, 1971. <br /> <br />That the appropriate City Officers be instructed <br />to take whatever action necessary to implement said <br />acceptance, including the signing on behalf of the <br /> <br />City of a contract with the Continental Insurance <br />Company consistent with/t~ms/~tx//of t~d submitted. <br />July 12, 1971 <br /> <br /> ROBOT I.
