qHEREAS , <br /> <br />!WHEREAS, <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 71-138 <br /> <br />RE: APPROVAL OF CONTRACTS REGARDING TRAFFIC <br />STUDIES OF PEDESTRIAN AND BICYCLE SAFETY PROGRAMS <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton is in receipt of two proposed <br />agreements, the first of which provides for the <br />services of a consulting engineer in studying and <br />analysing bicycle and pedestrian safety programs <br />for the City of Pleasanton and the second of which <br />provides for the provision by the consultant for <br />a system of traffic warrants in standards pursuant <br />to which the City of Pleasanton may administer its <br />traffic safety program; and <br />the cost of provision of the services provided for <br /> <br /> a Federal <br /> <br />in the two contracts above is <br />Grant. <br /> <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />funded by <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED <br /> 1. <br /> <br />DATED: <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />That the two proposed agreements between the City <br /> <br />of Pleasanton and DeLeuw, Cather and Company, <br />Consulting Engineers whereby the latter would provide <br />an analysis and study of bicycle and pedestrian <br />safety programs for the City and a system of standards <br />or warrants pursuant to which a City traffic program <br />may be more effectively administered is hereby <br /> <br />approved and the appropriate City Officers instructed <br />to execute same on behalf of the/~th of Plea~B~n. <br /> <br /> E~T . ), May~r <br /> <br />Helen Co McCarty, City Clerk <br /> APPROVED AS I0 FORM <br /> <br /> I,¥12tAIVl A.'HIF~ST, Cit~ Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
