CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 71-132 <br /> <br />RE: AUTHORIZATION TO INITIATE ANNEXATION PROCEEDINGS <br />FOR 142 ACRES EASTERLY OF SANTA RITA ROAD AND NORTHERLY <br />OF MOHR AVENUE <br /> <br />WHEREAS: The owner of some 142 acres of property located <br /> easterly of Santa Rita Road and northerly of Mohr <br /> Avenue and commonly known as the Nielson and <br /> Sheffield Property is desirous of annexing said <br /> property to the City of Pleasanton and has by <br /> letter dated June 28~ 1971~ requested that the <br /> City initiate proceedings with the Local Agency <br /> Formation Commission for annexation of said property <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That the appropriate City Officers be instructed <br /> to initiate with the Local Agency Formation Commission <br /> proceedings to annex the 142 acre parcel easterly <br /> of Santa Rita Road and northerly of Mohr Avenue as <br /> described in a letter from Morrison Homes~ Inc. <br /> dated June 28, 1971 to the City of/4~easanton. <br /> <br /> July 12 1971 <br /> <br /> R I, REID, Mayor <br /> <br />DATED <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />
