WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 71-129 <br /> <br />RE: APPROVING THE REPORT OF THE ASSISTANT CITY <br />MANAGER DATED JUNE 28, 1971 RECOMMENDING THE RE- <br />CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN POSITIONS WITH THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON. <br /> <br />the Assistant City Manager has submitted at the request <br />of the City Manager, a lengthy report with respect to <br />the desirability of reclassifying certain positions <br />within the City of Pleasanton and has, based upon said <br />study recommended reclassification of several said <br />positions or to other, existing job classifications; and, <br />said reclassifications appear desirable and in the <br />public interest in order to more accurately reflect <br />duties performed. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That, based upon the recommendations made with regard <br /> to reclassification by the Assistant City Manager in <br /> his report to the City Manager dated June 28, 1971 the <br /> City Council of the City of Pleasanton does hereby <br /> resolve as follows: <br /> (a) That the following new job classifications be <br /> <br />Finance Officer <br />Building Maintenance Supervisor <br />Senior Planner <br />Director of Engineering Services <br /> <br />created: <br /> <br />The persons occupying the positions of Accountant, <br />Building Maintenance Man, Assistant Planner and <br />Associate Civil Engineer shall respectively, <br />effective July 1, 1971, be transferred to the <br />hereinahn~ newly created positions in the order <br />in which such positions are referred to. <br /> <br /> <br />
