CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 71-217 <br /> <br />RE: ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS <br />ON FIRST STREET (PROJECT NO. 71-5) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, construction and installation of street resurfacing <br /> <br />on First Street (Project No. 71-5) by Gallagher & <br /> <br />Burk, Inc. has been satisfactorily completed consistent <br /> <br /> with the terms of the contract relating thereto; and <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works recommends that the work <br /> <br />on said project be accepted and that the contractor <br /> <br />be paid the total amount of said contract including <br /> <br /> any additions thereto less a 10% retention. <br />!NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />DATE D: <br /> <br />That the public improvements for Project No. 71-5 <br />installed by Gallagher & Burk, Inc. be accepted <br />and the Director of Finance instructed to execute a <br />warrant in favor of Gallagher and Burke, Inc. the <br />City's contractor of said project in the amount of <br />$17,770.50 said amount being the total mount of the <br />contract less 10% thereof. <br /> <br />That the appropriate Ci~ officers t~e whatever action <br /> <br />necessary to implement said acceptance including a <br />filing of a N°tice °f Com~ ~theretO- <br />November 1, 1971 <br /> <br /> ROBERT I.
