WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS~ <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 71-203 <br /> <br />RE: ADJUSTMENTS IN PLEASANTON SEWAGE TREATMENT <br />PLANT AND INTERIM POLICIES REGARDING GROWTH IN <br />AREAS TRIBUTARY THERETO <br /> <br />the Council at its meeting October 4, 1971 <br />considered in detail a report of its consultant, <br />Kennedy Engineers, regarding the present and <br />prospective capacity in the City's sewage <br />treatment plant; and <br />also considered was a report of the City Manager <br />recommending interim, minor adjustments in said <br />plant in order to accommodate the somewhat delayed <br />expansion of the Valley Community Services <br /> <br />District Sewage Treatment Plant; <br /> <br />also considered were recommendations by the City <br />Manager designed to regulate growth within the <br />area tributary to the City's plant in order to <br />ensure that the design capacity of the plant not <br />be exceeded; and <br />the recommendations of the City Manager and of the <br />City's consultant were considered in detail and <br />continued to the Council's meeting October 11, 1971 <br />for further consideration <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That consistent with the recommendation of the <br /> City's consultant, Kennedy Engineers, and its <br /> Manager, the staff be instructed to proceed to <br /> make interim adjustments in the City's sewage <br /> treatment plant necessary to allow the City to <br /> fully utilize, if needed, the design capacity <br /> of said sewage treatment plant which is, based <br /> upon a report by the City's consultant, Kennedy <br /> Engineers, 1.7 million gallons per day~ in <br /> <br /> <br />
