2. That in order to ensure a small amount of <br /> <br />uncommitted capacity in its sewage treatment <br />plant (approximately 200,000 gallons per day) <br />as well as enable the City to meet its present <br />commitments the staff and Planning Commission <br />are instructed to defer consideration of further <br /> <br />annexations or rezonings in the area tributary <br /> <br />to the City sewage treatment plant until~ <br /> <br />(a) The City has actually and physically begun <br /> to phase out its plant by transferring area <br /> No. 2, referred to in the agreement between <br /> V.C.S.D. and the City of Pleasanton dated <br /> June 14, 1967, to the Valley Community Services <br /> District Sewage Treatment Plant or by July 1, <br /> 1973, whichever is earlier. <br /> <br />(b) Until the City has received an accurate and <br /> feasible timetable for the third phase <br /> expansion of the Valley Cormmunity Services <br /> District Sewage Treatment Plant which would <br /> increase its plant capacity to eight plus or <br /> minus million gallons a day or until some <br /> other feasible alternative exists. <br /> <br />That the City staff and the Planning Commission be <br />instructed to compile an inventory of currently <br />zoned properties within the area tributary to the <br />City's sewage treatment plant for which no <br />development plans now exist and for which none in <br />the near future are expected for consideration by <br />both Council and Commission for possible rezoning <br />on an interim basis to an S District ~n order to <br /> <br />conclude land use planning studi( <br />thereto. <br /> <br />October 11, 1971 <br /> <br />~ith resp~ <br /> <br /> MID, <br /> <br />HELEN C.
