PLEASANTON ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS <br /> <br /> The Pleasanton Elementary Schools will provide the best education <br />possible for every child in the district. <br /> <br /> New residents should know the following facts: <br /> <br />(1) <br /> <br />Crowded classrooms have resulted in Pleasanton from recent <br />growth and the inability t9 build new schools under the. S,ate <br />Building Aid Program. <br /> <br />There will probably be increased crowding in classrooms in the <br />next few years in Pleasanton. <br /> <br />Although it is against the Board's policy, unless other alternatives <br />are developed, there may be double sessions required in the <br />future to serve all students. <br /> <br />(4) Extensive busing of students is required to balance our schools <br /> for efficient attendance. <br /> <br />(5) <br /> <br />(6) <br /> <br />(?) <br /> <br />New residents should not expect to have their children attend the <br />school in their neighborhood.
