CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 71-161 <br /> <br />RE: NAVIGATION SAFETY <br />the Regional Committee on Navigation and the <br />Environment, under the auspices of the Association <br />of Bay Area Governments and the San Francisco <br /> <br />Marine Exchange, has proposed recommendations <br />relative to safety of navigation in the San Francisco <br />Bay and its tributaries to minimize future accidents <br /> <br />~HEREAS , <br /> <br />gHEREAS, <br /> <br />and resulting environmental degradation; and <br />the Marine Exchange of San Francisco has formally <br />endorsed the recommendations; and <br />the Executive Committee of the Association of Bay <br />Area Governments has endorsed these recommended <br /> <br />~HEREAS, <br /> <br />measures; and <br /> <br />said Executive Committee has forwarded its endorse- <br /> <br />merit and copies of the report of the Regional <br /> <br />Committee on Navigation and the Environment to the <br /> <br /> concerned legislative committees in Congress and <br />h <br />~ the State Legislature <br />i ' <br /> <br /> ~OW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />i~ATED: <br /> <br />'ATTEST: <br /> <br />That the City of Pleasanton endorses the measures <br /> <br />recommended by the Regional Committee on Navigation <br /> <br />and the Environment and by the Executive Committee <br /> <br />of ABAG as desirable for establishment by federal <br /> <br />and state legislation in the San Francisco Bay <br /> <br />and waterways system. <br />August 16, 1971 <br /> <br />~elen C.
