CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 01-015 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PURCHASE AND <br />SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT FOR THE ACQUISITION OF <br />PROPERTY AT 3421 VINEYARD AVENUE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />in order to widen the Bernal Avenue bridge and construct related intersection <br />improvements at Bernal and Vineyard Avenues, the City needs to acquire the <br />entire property at 3421 Vineyard Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a comprehensive Purchase and Settlement Agreement has been negotiated with the <br />property owner for purchase of the property, relocation, and goodwill totaling <br />$1,147,500.00; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of February 20, 2001, the City Council received the report of the <br />Director of Public Works and City Attorney (SR 01:041) regarding the proposed <br />acquisition of property; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />Approves the Purchase and Settlement Agreement for the acquisition of 3421 <br />Vineyard Avenue, and the payment of related relocation and goodwill claims to the <br />property owner and tenant; and authorizes the City Manager to execute all required <br />documents. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON FEBRUARY 20, 2001 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
