!WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />I~NOW, <br /> <br />DATED: <br /> <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OP ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 71-157 <br /> <br />RE: OPPOSITION TO CROAK ROAD DUMP SITE <br /> <br />The Board of Supervisors of Alameda County is <br /> <br />to conduct a hearing on the application for <br /> <br />a conditional use permit to locate a dump site <br /> <br />at the northerly terminus of Croak Road in <br />Pleasanton Township; and <br />the City of Pleasanton has existing dump sites <br />adequate in size to accomodate garbage generated <br />within the City of Pleasanton and has recently <br />approved an amended agreement with its garbage <br />franchisee extending for a period of up to twenty <br />(20) years the present franchisee's obligations <br />regarding disposal of garbage; and <br />said approved Garbage Franchise Agreement does <br />not comtemplate use of other than existing dump <br />sites and the City of Pleasanton does not, itself, <br />contemplate in the foreseeable future use of other <br />than existing dump sites. <br /> <br />THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That the appeal of the estate of Laughlin and <br /> McGah from action of the Alameda County Zoning <br /> Administrator in disapproving its application for <br /> a conditional use permit for a dump site at the <br /> northerly terminus of Croak Road in Pleasanton <br /> Township be opposed and the Board of Supervisors <br /> <br /> urged to deny said appeal. / · <br /> August 2, 1971 · <br /> <br /> ROBERT I.
