C~ OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STAT!}i OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO 71-154 RESOLUTION DECLARING ANNEXATION PROCEEDINGS INITIATED BY CITY COUNCIL AND GIVING NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION DESIGNATED ANNEXATION NO. 62 iiTHE CITY COUNCIL OP THE CITY OP PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS i!FOLLOWS: 1. These proceedings are initiated by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton to annex to the City of Pleasanton all that un- inhabited territory described below. The Council acts on its own motion, pursuant to the "Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939", (Sections 35300 et seq. of the Government Code) as amended. 2. The City Council is in receipt of a written consent to annex said territory designated Annexation No. 62 from all of the landowners within said annexation. 3. The City Council does hereby desire to annex said uninhabit ted territory for the following reasons: Said territory is contiguous to the City, a part of the General Plan, and one of a series of annexations necessary in expanding the City boundaries. The area can be served by City sewer and water, and is the next logical step in the City's growth. 4. Said uninhabited territory is situated in the Township of Pleasanton, County of Alameda, State of California, and is further designated and described as follows: SEE EXHIBIT "A" ATTACHED HERETO AND MADE A PART HEREOF 5. The Local Agency Formation Commission of Alameda County, California, approved the above described and proposed boundaries of said territory by resolution duly adopted November 20, 1969. 6. On January 28, 1971, the Local Agency Formation Commission,l by Resolution No. 71-7, approved a one year extension of time in which to complete annexation procedures. 7. The time and place is hereby fixed when and where any person owning real property within the uninhabited territory de- scribed above and proposed to be annexed to the City of Pleasanton~ and having any objections thereto, may appear before the Council
