WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />!WHEREAS, <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 71-150 <br /> <br />RE: APPROVAL OF INTENTION TO ENTER INTO <br />JOINT EXERCISE OF POWERS AGREEMENT WITH <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA AND CITY OF LIVERMORE <br />REGARDING DEVELOPMENT OF BASE-MAP AND <br />TRAFFIC INVENTORY <br /> <br />the Federal Government has made available a <br />sizable grant to the unincorporated areas of <br />Alameda County and the Cities of Pleasanton and <br />Livermore for the purpose of preparing a map- <br />based inventory of traffic control devices; <br />and <br />said grant is conditioned upon the County of <br />Alameda and the Cities of Pleasanton and <br />Livermore contributing moderate amounts of <br />money to development of such an inventory and <br />upon the entrance into by said public agencies <br />of a joint exercise of a powers agreement; <br />and <br />a map-based inventory of traffic control devices <br />is a desirable program and will greatly assist <br />the public agencies herein in administering <br />their statutory responsibilities. <br /> <br />~OW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That the City Council of the City of Pleasanton <br /> indicated its intention to enter into a joint <br /> exercise of powers agreement with the County of <br /> Alameda and the City of Livermore providing <br /> for the development of a map-based inventory <br /> <br /> <br />
