CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 71-149 <br /> <br />RE: ACCEPTANCE OF LAND FOR RECREATIONAL <br />PURPOSES FROM WALTER JOHNSON <br /> <br />fHEREAS, the City is in receipt of a deed granting to the <br /> <br />V. WHERE AS, <br /> <br />City some 232 acres of land on the Pleasanton <br /> <br />Ridge which is, pursuant to terms and conditions <br />imposed by the Grantor, Walter Johnson, to be used <br />for recreational purposes by the City of Pleasanton; <br />the City of Pleasanton is most grateful to Walter <br />Johnson for his generosity in providing additional <br /> <br />recreational open space for the citizens of the <br /> <br />City of Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />~!WHEREAS, said grant by Walter Johnson is made in consideration <br /> <br />of a $1.00 payment which said $1.00 has been donated <br /> <br />by Councilman Bernard Gerton to be paid for the <br /> <br />account of the City of Pteasanton to Walter Johnson. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1.
