CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 71-142 <br /> <br />RE: APPROVAL OF AGREEMENT WITH PLEASANTON GARBAGE <br />COMPANY~ INC., REGARDING EXTENSION OF FRANCHISE TERM <br /> <br />WHEREAS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS: <br /> <br /> The City is in receipt of an agreement whereby the <br /> franchise term of the City's existing garbage franchise <br /> would be extended pursuant to certain terms and <br /> conditions; and <br /> <br /> Said agreement provides for either party modifying <br /> without penalty the terms of the agreement in order <br /> to avail itself of technological changes in the <br /> garbage disposal field; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: The agreement is in every other respect the same as <br /> the previous agreement <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That the agreement between the City and the Pleasanton <br /> Garbage Company? Inc., dated July 12, 1971, be approved <br /> and the appropriate City Officers instructed to execute <br /> same on behalf of the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> ROBERT I.
