RE: <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 76-126 <br /> <br />REVIEW OF BIDS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR THE RAY <br />STREET OVERLAY PROJECT TO RANSOME COMPANY <br /> <br />the City prepared plans and specifications for the Ray <br />Street Overlay Project; and <br />pursuant to Government Code ~37900, et seq., the City <br />Engineering Services Department advertised for bids <br />regarding this project; and <br />the bid of Ransome Company was the lowest responsible <br />bid; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section t. The bid of Ransome Company in the amount of $6,176.00 <br /> for the construction of the Ray Street Overlay Project <br /> is hereby accepted by City Council as the lowest respon- <br /> sible bid. <br /> <br />Section 2. The City is authorized to enter into a contract with <br /> <br /> Ransome Company for the improvements specified above. <br />Section 3.
