CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 72-52 <br /> <br />DECLARING INTENT TO OBLIGATE FISCAL YEAR 1971-72 and 1972-73 <br />TOPICS ALLOCATIONS AND ASSIGNING FISCAL YEAR 1971-72 TOPICS <br />ALLOCATIONS TO COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, by letter from the State Director of Public Works dated <br /> March 23, 1972, the City of Pleasanton was advised that <br /> its share of the apportionment of California's Federal <br /> TOPICS funds for 1971-72 would be $10,268.00, and for <br /> 1972-73 would be $10,268; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 70-143, the City of Pleasanton became a <br /> member of the "Alameda County TOPICS Fund Group," herein- <br /> after referred to as ACTFG, to provide for cooperative <br /> action by the County and cities within Alameda County to <br /> implement the Federal Government's"Traffic Operations <br /> Program to Increase Capacity and Safety," hereinafter <br /> referred to as TOPICS: and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Alameda is the Coordinating Agent for ACTFG;I <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That this City Council finds that it is in the best inter- <br /> <br /> ests of ACTFG members for Alameda County, as Coordinating <br /> Agent, to receive and to hold all TOPICS allocations of <br /> ACTFG members with approved projects; <br /> <br /> 2. That this City Council hereby announces its intent to <br /> obligate its fiscal year 1971-72 TOPICS apportionment by <br /> application of Rule 1.c. of the "Rules Regarding Use of <br /> TOPICS Funds" in assigning this apportionment to the <br /> County of Alameda, as Coordinating Agent for ACTFG; <br /> <br /> 3. That this City Council hereby announces its intent to <br /> obligate its fiscal year 1972-73 TOPICS apportionment by <br /> application of either Rule 1.a., Rule 1.b. or Rule 1.c. of <br /> the "Rules Regarding Use of TOPICS Funds," the appropriate <br /> <br /> <br />
