RE: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 72-36 <br /> <br /> FEE FOR STRONG-MOTION INSTRUMENTATION PROGRAM <br />Senate Bill #1374, Chapter 1152, adopted by the Legisla- <br />ture during its 1971 Session adds 22700, et seq., to the <br />Public Resources Code relating to Earthquake Safety and <br />the funding of studies thereof; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />said act requires cities to collect a fee from all appli- <br />cants for construction permits which said fee is to be <br />accounted for and deposited in the State Treasury in the <br />Strong-Motion Instrumentation Special Fund thereof; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, certain administrative costs are created by the collection <br /> <br />accounting for, and transmittal of said fees as provided <br /> <br />herein. <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That the City collect from all applicants for construction <br />permits a fee equal to .010 of the estimated cost of the <br /> <br />structure, 70% of which said fee is to be accounted for <br /> <br />and transmitted as provided in 22700, et seq., of the <br /> <br />Public Resources Code and 30% of said fee to be retained <br /> <br />il Dat ed: <br /> <br /> by City to defray the cost of~ <br /> transmittal required here~ <br /> <br />March 6, 1972 ROB~~ <br /> <br />~tion, ~ounting <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />I!
