RE: <br /> <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 72-16 <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGREEMENT WITH STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />TO CONDUCT ANNUAL POPULATION ESTIMATE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />NOW, <br /> <br /> the City is in receipt of an agreement dated February 1, <br /> 19 ~ between the City and the State Department of Finance <br /> whereby the latter, pursuant to S2107.2 of the Streets <br /> and Highways Code, would make a population estimate for <br /> Pleasanton; and <br /> said agreement provides for the procedure to be followed <br /> in making such estimates and for the payment by City of <br /> money to the State Department of Finance for said popula- <br /> tion estimates; and <br /> approval of said agreement is desirable since the result <br /> thereof may be a higher population and accordingly <br /> <br /> higher gas tax subvention to the City of Pleasanton; <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1.
