CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 01-008 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE MASTER PLAN FOR THE <br />ALVISO ADOBE COMMUNITY PARK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton has applied for a Master Plan for the Alviso Adobe <br />Community Park located on approximately 6.07 acres of undeveloped parkland at <br />3465 Foothill Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD-LDR (Planned Unit Development - Low Density <br /> Residential) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a negative declaration was adopted by <br /> Council on January 23, 2001; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommendation for approval of the <br /> Master Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held before the City Council on January 23, <br /> 2001, at which time all pertinent testimony and documents were reviewed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council determined that the proposed design and uses for the Alviso <br />Adobe Community Park are appropriate for maintaining the historic and rural <br />qualities of the site. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />Approves the Master Plan for the Alviso Adobe Park located on approximately <br />6.07 acres of undeveloped parkland at 3465 Foothill Road, subject to the <br />conditions shown on "Exhibit C", attached hereto and incorporated herein by this <br />reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: Directs staff to study further including the construction of a silo on the site. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
