CITY OF PLEASEON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 72-172 <br /> <br /> APPROVAL OF AGREEMENT WITH GRAVEL COMPANIES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City is in receipt of a proposed agreement with the <br /> four major gravel producers in or near the City under <br /> which the former purports to forebear, under stated <br /> terms and conditions, to exercise its police power in <br /> prohibiting truck traffic on all City streets in return <br /> for the latters' removal of trucks from all City streets <br /> but First Street-Sunol Boulevard and assistance to City <br /> in making such improvements as may be required to <br /> accommodate said truck traffic thereon. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1.
