WHEREAS, <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE 0F CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 72-198 <br /> <br />RE: CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF <br />BROWN AND CALDWELL WATER QUALITY <br />MANAGEMENT PLAN. <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton participated with other <br />public agencies in the Livermore-Amador Valley <br />in the preparation of a Water Quality Management <br />Plan for the Alameda Creek Water Shed above <br />Niles; and <br /> <br />Brown and Caldwell, Consulting Engineers was <br />retained to provide and recommend such a plan; <br />and <br /> <br />a lengthy and detailed report and recommendation <br /> , <br />with respect thereto was provided by Brown and <br /> <br />Ca~dwell in September of 1972; and <br />numerous public hearing and study sessions were <br />had by City Officials, Commissions and the <br />Council. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That the Water Quality Management Plan for the <br /> Alameda Creek Water Shed above Niles provided <br /> in September of 1972, by Brown and Caldwell, <br /> Consulting Engineers is approved and the re- <br /> commendation contained therein accepted as <br /> follows: It is recommended that water supply <br /> quality improvements and a stagedwastewater <br /> reclamation plan eK~haeizing land disposal as <br /> described in this report, be accomplished in the <br /> Livermare-Amador Valley by a single Valley-wide <br /> agency having power to implement a comprehensive <br /> water quality management program.
