CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION N0.72-209 <br /> <br />RE: ABANDONMENT OF PORTION OF VALLEY <br />AVEN~E <br /> <br /> be abandoned was no longer necessary <br /> <br />or prospective street purposes. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />the City Council of the City of Pleasanton did <br />by Resolution No. 70-244 indicate its intentloam <br />to abandon a portion of Valley Avenue no longer <br />needed for street purposes at such time when <br />street improvements along Valley Avenue close <br />to its intersection with Hopyard Road had been <br />completed; and <br />the City Council of the City of Pleasanton did <br />by Resolution No. 72-179 indicate its intention <br />to abandon said portion of Valley Avenue and fix <br />a date, time and place at which, pursmant to the <br />Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, <br />evidence and objections to said proposed abandonment <br />would be heard; and <br />said hearing was continued from time to time to <br />December 11, at which time evidence regarding said <br />proposed abandonment was heard and considered which <br />indicated that retention of the area proposed to <br /> <br /> for present <br /> <br />That the procedures in the Streets and Highways <br />Code (Section 83.20) having been complied with <br />in evidence having been submitted indicating <br />retention of a portion of Valley Avenue is no <br /> <br /> <br />
