WHEREAS, <br /> <br />NOW, <br /> <br />DATED: <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 73~8 <br /> <br />RE: APPROVAL OF BID AND AWARD OF <br />CONTRACT FOR LOMA ALTA PARK <br /> <br />the City has solicited bids consistent with <br />the GOvernment Code in connection with the <br />improvement of Loma Alta Park and Fairlands <br />Elementary School; and <br />the low bidder is Lopez Landscape in the amount <br />of $58,071.00; and <br />the reputation of Lopez Landscape is good and <br />there does not appear to be any clerical errors <br />in the submittal of the bid. <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That a contract be awarded to Lopez Landscape, <br /> the low bidder in the amount of $58,071.00 for <br /> the improvement of the Loma Alta Park and Fairlands <br /> Elementary School. <br /> <br />2. That the City advance money for the inprovement <br /> pursuant to the plans and specifications of a <br /> portion of Fairlands Elementary School on the <br /> express understanding that the Pleasanton Joint <br /> Sc.hool District will, pursuant to ReSolution No. <br /> 436, adopted Jemuary 31 1973, contribute as provided <br /> <br /> therein its share of the cost off .aid improvement. <br /> <br /> January 8, 1973 RO.~z.~ <br /> RO T i.
