CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 73-47 <br /> <br />RE: PRIVATE STREETS AND REGULATIONS APPLICABLE <br /> THERETO <br /> <br />the City Council has, consistent with the provisions <br />of §21107.5 of the Vehicle Code of the State of <br />California, found that certain hereinafter-enumerated <br />private streets which are generally held open for the <br />use of the public for purposes of vehicular travel so <br />connect with public streets that the public cannot <br />determine that such roads are not public streets; and <br />a public hearing with respect thereto and consistent <br />with the requirements of §21107.5 of the Vehicle Code <br />was noticed and held following written notice thereof <br />having been provided to the owners of such private <br />streets; and <br />application of certain of the regulations provided for <br />in the Vehicle Code of the State of California and of <br />local parking regulations to said streets appears <br />desirable and in the public interest and, further, is <br />requested by both the owners of said streets and many <br />affected property owners abutting said streets; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The provisions of Section 6of Resolution No. 70-26, <br /> relatin~ to parking zones, are hereby amended so as <br /> to create.thereunder two subsections, the first of which, <br /> "(a)", entitled "Public Streets", shall include all <br /> public streets presently listed under said Section 6 <br /> and the second of which, "(b)" entitled "PriVate <br /> Streets", shall include private streets to which <br /> no-parking regulations shall apply pursuant to <br /> §21107.5 Of the Vehicle Code, said section as <br /> amended to provide as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />
