are not members of International Association of Fire <br /> Fighters Local 1974 the same salary and benefits to be <br /> given to members of International Association of Fire <br /> Fighters Local 1974 in Order that all employees are <br /> treated equally and fairly~ <br /> <br />NOW, T~EREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The Memorandum of Understanding entered into between <br /> the City Manager and representatives of International <br /> Association of Fire Fighters Local 1974 dated June 29, <br /> 1973, attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated <br /> heroin by reference is hereby accepted by the City <br /> Council of the City of Pleasanton subject to the <br /> terms and conditions contained in the Memorandum <br /> of Understanding. <br /> <br /> 2. The employee class titles and salary ranges to be paid <br /> by the City of Pleasanton during the 19~3~74 fiscal <br /> year and commencing with July 1, 1973, shall be as set <br /> forth in Exhibit B, which is attached hereto and incor- <br /> porated heroin by reference. <br /> <br /> 3.Resolution No. 71-128 is hereby repealed. <br /> <br /> 4. If any section, subsection, subdivision, paragraph, <br /> sentence, clause or phrase of this resolution or any <br /> part thereof is for any reason held to be uncOnstitu- <br /> tional, such decision shall not affect the validity of <br /> the remaining portions of this resolution or any part <br /> thereof. The City Council hereby declares that it would <br /> have passed each section, subsection, subdivision, para- <br /> <br /> of the fact that any one or more sections, subsections, <br /> subdivisions, paragraphs, sentences, clauses or phrases <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br /> <br />
