Sec. <br /> <br />Sec. <br /> <br />Sec . <br /> <br />Sec . 6 . <br /> <br />Sec. 7. <br /> <br /> Appendix A. <br /> <br />The City Manager, in determining the compensation level <br />for those personnel who have been designated middle-man- <br />agement pursuant to Resolution No. 73-~lshall establish <br />a Middle-Management Compensatio~ Plan using the guidelines <br />set forth in Appendix B which is attached hereto and in- <br />corporated herein by reference. <br /> <br />The City Council endorses the City Manager~ recommended <br />Middle-Management Compensation Plan and Salary Schedule <br />for the personnel specified in Appendix B. <br /> <br />The City Council endorses the City Manager's recommended <br />salary schedule for the confidential employees included in <br />Appendix B and the City Manager's decision to grant said <br />employees the same benefits received by all other City <br />employees under ResolUtion No. 73-~13. <br /> <br />The persons occupying those positions which have been <br />designated middle management who are also members of or <br />are represented by International Association of Fire <br />Fighters Local 1974 or the Pleasanton City Employees <br />Association shall designate their choice by July 1, 1973 <br />of which compensation plan they wish to receive during the <br />1973-54 fiscal year. Said employees may choose to be <br />compensated under either the Middle-Management Compensa- <br />tion Plan or under the terms of the Memorandum of Under- <br />standing which has been negotiated with each employees <br />organization and accepted by the City Council. <br /> <br />The compensation set forth in the Middle-Management Com- <br />pensation Plan or the Memorandum of Understanding with <br />the various employee organizations shall be the only com- <br />pensation to which the Middle-Management employee is <br />entitled and there shall be no right to receive benefits <br />which are contained in one plan but not included in the <br />other.
