CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> C~Y OF ALAMEDA <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A C MpENSATION PLAN FOR <br /> EXECUTIVE, MIDDLE MaNAG~ AND CONFIDBNTIAL <br /> PERSONNBL FOR THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />WHE~BAS, City Council of Pleasanton adopted Resolution No. 73-97, <br /> a resolution amending Resolution No. 71-73 (Adoption of <br /> Personnel Rules and Regulations) and Resolution No. 71-75 <br /> (Employer and Employee Relations Procedures) relating to <br /> various areas of the Personnel Rules, which indicated the <br /> executive, middle management and confidential personnel <br /> for the Cit~ of Pleasanton~ and <br /> <br />W~, the City CoUncil in 1972 implemented an Executive Compen- <br /> sation Plan pertaining to management persor~el~ and <br /> <br />WEREAS, pursuant to recommendations of the City Manager contained <br /> in his budget message for 1973,.the City has designated <br /> <br /> certain employees as middle-management employees~ and <br /> <br />wH~Pasas, the Council is desirous of compensating said middle-man- <br /> agement employees by providing them with a compensation <br /> plan which recognizes their responsibilities as mi~le-- <br /> management employees~ and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, certain City personnel have been ~signated confidential <br /> employees by reason of the position the~ hold vis-a-vis <br /> executive personnel and the City Council is desirous of <br /> compensating said employees in relation to their responsi+ <br /> bilities. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE C~TY OF PLEASAN~ON DOBS <br />RESOL~EAS FOLLOWS= <br /> <br />Sec. 1. The City Manager, in determining the compensation level <br /> for those personnel included in the Executive Compensatio~ <br /> Plan, shall use the ~u~elinee set forth in A~pe~dix A <br /> <br /> which is attached hereto and included herein by reference <br /> <br />See. 2. The City Council endorses the City Manager's recommended <br /> Executive Compensation Plan and salary schedule for the <br /> personnel appointed by the City Manager included in <br /> <br /> <br />
