CITY OF PLEASM <br /> COUNTY OF <br /> STATE 0F CALIFOI~IA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 73-108 <br /> <br /> RE: APP]K)VI,NG T~E AP~L!CAT!~ F~R .~ AM~ <br /> C SSRv XoM, <br /> Pr.RASANTON SPORTS AND RECRBATION PARE PROJECT. <br /> <br /> the Congress under Public Law 88'578 has authorized <br /> the establishment of a Federal Land and Water Con~ <br /> servation Fund Grant-In-Aid PrOgram, providing matching <br /> funde to the State of California and its, political <br /> subdivisions for acquiring lands and developing faCil- <br /> ities for pubiic outdoor recreation purposes; and <br /> the State 'Department Of Parks and Recreation is re~ <br /> <br />. sponsibl,e for the administration of the program within <br />the State, setting up'necessary rules and procedures <br />governing .application by local agencies under the <br />program; and <br />said adopted procedures established by the State <br />partment of Parks and Recreation require the applicant <br />to certify by resolution the approval of applications <br />and the a. vailabitity of local matching funds prior to <br />submission of said applications to ~heState; and <br /> <br /> Part V of said applications contains assurances that <br /> the applicant must comply with; and <br /> said procedures further require the applicant to possess <br /> an adopted plan showing parks and recreation lands and <br /> facilities· existing and proposed~ and <br /> the City~s Pleasanton plan was first adopted by the <br /> city council on January 27, 1~65; and <br /> <br /> appears on the City's plan and is consistent with the <br /> California Outdoor Recreation ~esoUrces Plan; and <br /> <br /> <br />
