CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 73-156 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE RETENTION OF LAMPMAN <br />AND ASSOCIATES TO PREPARE THE GENERAL PLANS FOR <br />VARIOUS PARKS WITHIN THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized the City staff to proceed <br /> with the formation of general plans for improvement of <br /> seven parks within the City of Pleasanton (Hansen Park, <br /> Val Vista, Century, Mission Hill, Moller, Oakhill and <br /> Woodthrush Parks); and <br /> <br />W~EREAS, the Staff has advised the City Council that in order to <br /> prepare necessary general plans it would be advisable to <br /> retain the firm of Lampman and Associates; and <br /> <br />WMEREAS, Lampman and Associates have provided the City with a pro- <br /> posal imd&~ating that said plans can be prepared for a <br /> cost of approximately $23;000; and <br /> <br />W~EREAS, Council was advised that $16,000 of the Revenue Sharing <br /> moneys may be used to supplement the funds previously <br /> budgeted by the City Council in regard to the preparation <br /> of said plans; <br /> <br />NeW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. City staff is authorized to retain the services of Lampman <br /> and Associates to prepare general plans for the seven <br /> parks authorized for improvement by the City Council <br /> (Hansen, Val Vista, Century, Mission Hill, Moller, Oakhill <br /> and Woodthrush Parks). The approximate cost for the <br /> service will be $23,000. <br /> <br /> 2. In addition to the sum of $7,000 previously approved in <br /> the 1973-74 fiscal year budget for the development of the <br /> above general plans, an additional sum of $16,000 is <br /> <br /> <br />
